The Dubuque Opportunity Scholar Program is a special component of The Lester G. Wendt and Michael Lester Wendt Character Initiative. Priority is given to supporting completion of the baccalaureate degree by transfer students from the Dubuque tri-state area who are working part-time or serving in an internship in a local manufacturing company. Students entering the University as juniors are eligible to apply for consideration; successful applicants may also apply for renewal of their scholarship in their senior year.
